Mint No. 9, a deceivingly simple blend, required two years of development.  Blending wintergreen, peppermint, spearmint, sweet fennel and additional essential oils, it has a well balanced character.  And it was worth the effort - this recipe has not changed and is still one of our most robust and long lasting blends.

As a general rule we like to under-promise and over-deliver - with this in mind each bottle has a minimum of a dozen toothpicks.

Mint - derived from mintha (Greek) - is the common name for a genus of herbaceous plant (mentha), known for its aromatic leaves, sweet flavour and cool after taste.  Used in savoury desserts, teas or on meats in British and Middle Eastern cuisine, the plant is seemingly ubiquitous in its culinary reach.

Originally used to treat stomach and chest pain, it’s medical attributes now include decongestant and digestive aid.

Traditional blends are made with authentic extracts and essential oils, blended to strike a balanced sapidity.
